Frequently Asked Questions
When should I send out my invitations?
Typically, invitations should be mailed out 6-8 weeks prior
to your wedding or special event.

What should I know before ordering invitations?
It is very important that you order 15 - 20% additional
envelopes or place cards. This will cover mistakes, add-ons, address changes, etc.

How much time will it take to calligraphy invitations?
Although rush orders can usually be accommodated for
an additional fee, please allow 2-3 weeks.

What if there are mistakes on my guest list?
I will calligraphy what is given, so please carefully proof-
read your list prior to sending it to me.  Although obvious spelling errors can be taken care of, most issues involve incorrect street names and transposed zip codes which typically aren't evident when lettering.

How should I prepare my guest list?
Lists should be typewritten with information listed as shown:

Outer Envelope                      Inner Envelope (if used)
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe                Mr. and Mrs. Doe
  Street Address
  City, State, Zip

It is also very helpful to alphabetize your list by last name.

What do you mean by additional lines?
Almost all address lists contain some addresses with more than three lines. For example, apartment/suite numbers or invitations to unmarried couples living at the same address, etc.

Can you help with questions regarding etiquette?
Absolutely.  I strictly follow the Crane's Blue Book for any questions regarding proper etiquette.

What other services do you offer?
Many services are available including place cards, table cards, custom invitations, menus, buffet cards, custom poetry, mono and duo grams, certificates, etc. Please
contact me with any project that you have in mind.
